Proofreading Services
Congratulations! You've made it to the final step before sending
your precious manuscript out into the world. You've spent hours
writing and revising, have sent it off to be examined by an extra
pair of eyes (the editing service), and now you are ready to have
it proofread.
"Why can't I do it myself," you ask.
Well, you can, but you've read through it so many times it may
be hard to spot the last bit of details needing a fix. I will be
coming at it fresh and will probably be reading it for the first
time. Those last bits of details will stand out for me and I will
help you fix it.
How?
By looking for the right/wrong details causing two types of problems:
1. Spelling/Punctuation/Grammar
2. Glitches resulting from changes to the manuscript during layout:
in headers/footers, pagination, widows/orphans, incorrect hyphenation
